PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an agent for forming a protective film showing excellent stability under high-temperature high-humidity conditions by a simplified production process using no ultraviolet irradiator by mixing a polyamide resin soluble in an alcoholic solvent with nitrocellulose and an organometallic coordination compound in a specified ratio. SOLUTION: This agent comprises 100 pts.wt. polyamide resin soluble in an alcoholic solvent, 5-40 pts.wt. nitrocellulose prepared by substituting the hydroxyl groups of cellulose units with nitric group and having a nitrogen content of 10.0-12.5wt.%, 0.05-5 pts.wt., per 100 pts.wt. total of the polyamide resin and the nitrocellulose, organometallic coordination compound (e.g. tetraisopropyl titanate) and 65-90 pts.wt., per 100 pts.wt. total agent, solvent. The polyamide resin is obtained by polycondensing a carboxylic acid compound comprising 10-50 equivalent % 4C or lower and 12-22C aliphatic monocarboxylic acid mixture and a polymerized fatty acids with an alkylenepolyamine and an aromatic polyamine in a ratio of the number of equivalents of the carboxyl groups to that of the amine of 10-9 to 10/10. |
