PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately control the exhaust amount of an engine at the time, when speed is varied by swapping the friction engaging elements of an automatic speed changer in a driving gear for a vehicle in which the engine and a motor generator are combined with a driving source. SOLUTION: A driving gear for a vehicle is provided with an engine 1 as a driving source, a motor generator 4 and an automatic speed changer 3 of stopped speed change which achieves a given speed change step by releasing one of two different friction engaging elements 32, 33 and by engaging the other. A variable-speed control device, when speed is changed by releasing a friction engaging element 32 and by engaging the other one 33 (swapping operation) to reach a given speed change step, controls the output torque of the motor generator 4 with a revolution controlling means and restrains the rise in the inputted revolution of the automatic speed changer 3, in conjunction with the drop in the engaging pressure of the released friction engaging element 32. |
