PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce non-jetting of ink while preventing mass consumption of ink incident to forced purge by providing an ink supply path with an overheater, a bubble removing means and an ink cooling part and setting the liquid level higher on the ink supply chamber side than on the ink collecting chamber side. SOLUTION: An ink supply path 2 is provided with an overheater 3, a bubble removing valve 4 and a cooling part 6 and a head h0 is set between an ink collecting chamber 9 and an ink supply chamber 1 by means of a pump 10 in order to circulate ink from the ink supply chamber 1 to a print head 7 and the ink collecting chamber 9. On the stage of flowing from the ink supply chamber 1 to the ink supply path 2, ink is heated by the overheater 3 and oversaturated air condition is produced before bubbles are discharged from a bubble sump 5 through the bubble removing valve 4. Bubbles can be dissolved easily in the ink flowing from the overheating part to the cooling part 6 and bubbles in the vicinity of the cooling part 6 and the print head 7 are dissolved and extinguished. |
