PORTABLE TERMINAL EQUIPMENT, COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND DATA TRANSFER METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operating convenience of a base station (master set) by transferring communication destination data which has been registered/has just been registered to a portable terminal that is connectable to a communication line via the base station connecting to the communication line to the base station (master station) under a prescribed condition. SOLUTION: Transfer of communication destination data from a portable terminal B1 (-B3) to a base station (master station) is automatically executed in the case that 1) the data are not transferred, that is, updated data and 2) the portable terminal resident in the outside of a communication available area with the base station for a prescribed time or over next enters the area. In the case that telephone directory data stored in the base station and the portable terminal B1 (-B3) are updated, the updated data are transmitted to the other portable terminal B1 (-B3) or the base station (master set). The other terminal or the base station can utilize the communication destination data by registering the communication destination data to either of the portable terminal B1 (-B3) or the base station (master set).
