METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING INCOMING CLOCK SIGNAL THROUGH NETWORK SEGMENT IN TRANSPARENT WAY AND TRANSMITTER AND RECEIVER RELATING TO THE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit an incoming clock signal with a known frequency in a transparent way without making complicated a transmitter and a receiver of a network segment through which the clock signal is transmitted. SOLUTION: A network segment is made up of a transmitter TX that receives an incoming clock signal CLK2 and a transmission clock signal CLK1 from a transmitter clock device C1 and a receiver RX that receives a reception clock signal CLK1' synchronously with the transmitter clock signal C1 from a receiver clock device C1'. Then a phase difference P between a phase of the incoming clock signal CLK2 and a phase of a reference signal R obtained from the transmission clock signal CLK1 is measured, the phase difference P is sent from the transmitter TX to the receiver RX and the receiver RX generates an output clock signal CLK2' with a frequency equal to a known frequency and a phase difference equal to the phase difference P.
