PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically add a code to specified words and phrases in a document. SOLUTION: A document read means 22 reads a detailed statement stored in a floppy disk as a file from the floppy disk and stores it in a memory 16. A symbol retrieval means 24 retrieves an identification symbol in the memory 16 and a word and phrase identification means 26 identifies the words and phrases stored before the identification symbol retrieved by the symbol retrieval means 24, that are the specified words and phrases, in the memory 16. A word and phrase retrieval means 28 retrieves the words and phrases matched with the specified words and phrases identified by the word and phrase identification means 26 in the memory 16 and a code insertion means 30 allocates the code to the specified words and phrases and inserts the code to a position following the words and phrases retrieved by the word and phrase retrieval means 28 in the memory 16. |
