DEVICE FOR PEELING CARTON FOR BOXED ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut off three sides of opposite two faces of a carton and the peripheral side thereof on a conveyor and extrude an article out of a case and transfer the vacant case put in order, by installing vertical and lateral cutting devices and a separating device taking out the article, which are connected to a sending-in conveyor for the carton. SOLUTION: A carton charged with frozen blocks is put in a vertical cutter 7 from a roller conveyor 4 and the position thereof is adjusted by a positioning member 5 and then notches are vertically formed at the nearby positions of the right and left faces of the front and rear faces of the carton by a rotary cutter. The carton is laterally moved by a laterally sliding plate 6 and lateral notches are formed at the nearby position of the lower side of the front face and the nearby positions of the upper and lower sides of the rear face by a lateral cutter 8 and then the carton is put in a separating device 9. The carton is positioned and fixed by a fixing member 13 and the frozen blocks are extruded by a pushing member and transferred to a sending-out conveyor 15. The carton and cut pieces of corrugated cardboard left in the separating device 9 are folded at the ridge parts with folds and removed from the separating device.
