PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assuredly remove a front panel on which an upper panel is integrally formed while holding a unit body in an installed condition without any restriction on an installation site. SOLUTION: An outdoor unit on an air conditioner is constructed such that left and right side panels and a rear panel are mounted on a base plate and a front panel on which an upper panel is integrally formed is replaceably mounted on these panels. The left and right side panels 15 are provided with bent flange portions 15a at the upper brims thereof, while the upper panel portion formed on the front panel 17 is provided with folded portions 17a at left and right side brims thereof. The folded portion 17a is provided with a gap into which the bent flange portion 15a is snugly fitted. Due to a slide engagement between the bent flange portion 15a and the folded portion 17a, the front panel 17 can be replaceably mounted and removed in a horizontal direction.
