PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition having excellent permanent antistatic properties and economical profitability and good water resistance and resin properties by mixing a thermoplastic resin with a cationic copolymer having a specified weight-average molecular weight and an anionic surfactant in a specified ratio. SOLUTION: This composition comprises 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic resin, 1-20 pts.wt. cationic copolymer having a weight-average molecular weight of 1,000-50,000 and 0.1-20 pts.wt. anionic surfactant. The thermoplastic resin is selected among polyolefins, polystyrenes, etc. The cationic copolymer comprises 80-98mol% ethylene structural units represented by formula I and 2-20mol% cationic structural units represented by formula II (wherein R<2> is ethylene or propylene; R<3> and R<4> are each methyl; R<5> is a lower linear alkyl or an arylalkyl; X is a halogen, CXH3 OSO3 or the like and R<6> is a 1-8C alkyl or the like; and R<6> is a 1-8C alkyl or the like). The anionic surfactant used is a 6-18C alkylbenzenesulfonate. |
