PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vinyl chloride-based resin capable of providing a vinyl chloride-based paste sol composition having low viscosity and excellent in processability over a wide shear rate region while maintaining high quality. SOLUTION: This vinyl chloride-based resin has 1.0-3.5m<2> /g specific surface area and is composed of (A) 15-55wt.% particles having particle diameter distribution in particle size of <2μm and having at least one peak of the distribution in particle size of 0.2-1.5μm, (B) <15wt.% particles having >=2μm and <4μm particle size and (C) 40-80wt.% particles having particle diameter distribution in >=4μm particle size and having at least one peak of the distribution in a particle size of 7-15μm.
