PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform effective absorption of collision load without erroneously spreading an air bag at light collision even in a vehicle having a short front overhang and the front ends of front frames close to a front bumper. SOLUTION: In a shock absorbing structural body 4 composed of a bent member 5 bent forward in the projecting shape, and right and left stay members 6 fixed to both right and left ends of the bent member 5, right and left stay members 6 are attached to right and left front frames 1 in a state where the bent member 5 is offset upward from the front frames 1 and the forefront end of the approximately central part in the vehicle width direction of the bent member 5 is projected foreword from the front ends of the front frames 1 by L and is close to the rear part of a front bumper 2. Collision load is inputted to the front end of the bent member 5 in head-on collision, the bent member 5 is deformed in the stroke range as L, and therefore, absorption of collision energy is effectively performed without erroneously spreading of an air bag at light collision. |
