MULTILAYER DRESSING FOR THE TREATMENT OF SKIN INJURIES CAUSED BY CHEMICAL AND HEAT AGENTS

The multilayer dressing is used when emergency medical aidhas been refused at extreme situations for use under clinicalconditions. By it treatment is painless, the inflammatoryprocesses are quickly treated and the origination of new ones isprevented. The dressing can be easily and quickly applied, doesnot stick to the wound surface thus guaranteeing atraumaticapplication when it is being replaced, activates the regenerationprocesses and assists for the complete epithelization. Themultilayer dressing consists of internal layer in contact with theinjured section made of polyester or polysiloxane-modifiedpolyamide cross-link, modified by an antimicrobial agent, middlelayer of cellulose wool having surface mass from 100 to 300 g/m2and 0.002-0.005 m thickness modified by 0.01-0.05 wt.%antimicrobial agent, 0.005-0.01 wt.% Lidocaine hydrochloricum, andexternal layer of network type identical with the first layer orcotton gauze or impermeable foil.1 claim
