<p>The membrane produced is used in the cells for theelectrolysis of aqueous solutions of alkaline halogenides. Itcontains in wt. pts.: 100 asbestos fibres, from 30 to 70derivatives based of silicon dioxide and from 20 to 60fluoropolymer deposited on porous material at weight ratiobetween the fluoropolymer and the derivatives based on silicondioxide from 0. 6 and 1.2, preferably from 0.6 and 0.9. When themembrane is produced by suspension deposition it contains thefollowing ingredients in dry state, 1n wt.pts.: 100 asbestosfibres, 30 derivatives based on silicon dioxide, 25 fluoropolymerand 1,5 thickening agent.</p> |
