A cleaning composition is given to know containing a lime soap deposit dispersant and a method for preparing cleaning liquid compositions containing dispersants of the deposits of the lime soap. More specifically cleaning compositions are given to know containing lime soap deposit polymer dispersants derived from maleic acid, maleic anhydride or its salts, copolymerized with a hydrophobic monomer containing 4 to 20 carbon atoms. The cleaning compositions that contains a lime soap deposit dispersant based on polymers of the diisobutilene/maleic acid are particularly efficient in producing liquid compositions, cleaning stables, with good lime soap deposit dispersant properties.
