The support is used with a folding mattress that has articulated cushions (1,2,3,4). It is a rigid frame with two parts (5,6) which are articulated round axles (9a,9b). The first part (5) forms a back rest and the second part (6) forms a cervical support. In their open position the second part forms an extension of the first part and is blocked in this position by the end of the second part resting on the first part. A U-shaped support leg (12) has its branches (12a,12b) articulated on the top of the first part and forms an inverted V-shape with this.
