The loading device (1) for a fork lift truck (2) comprises a support structure (3) on which a bucket or spade (4) is mounted to tip under the action of an actuator (5). The bucket comprises front and rear (6) walls, a bottom (7) and side walls (8,8'). At one end of the support structure is pivoted, around a tipping axle (13) parallel to that of the bucket, a support arm (11) on the free end (14) of which the bucket is pivoted. The support structure comprises anchorings (10) able to engage the fork lift truck.
