The invention refers to a furniture leg, designed especially for desks or similar working tables, on which electric or electronic equipment is placed, such as computers and their peripherals. The desk leg is made up of a foot (1) made of steel sheet, with bent wings (d and e) used for reinforcing that are supported on the ground by some prismatic locating pieces (8), which are provided with adjusting screws (12). A hollow vertical post (2) made of thin steel sheet is mounted on the centre of the foot (1), and a cross-bar (3) with a U-shaped cross-section is mounted on it with its wings facing down. The vertical post (2) has a longitudinal opening (g) that is blocked by a detachable lid (4), fixed with its upper end on the cross-bar (3) using a screw (6). An orifice (j) is made inside the vertical post (2), in the centre of the foot (1), through which the electric cables are introduced which come out at the top through another orifice (k) made in the detachable lid (4).
