The presentation equipment has the cassette or compact disc in its own packing, and housed in an outer packing to prevent theft, with these enclosed in a storage support. Either the inner or the anti-theft packing incorporates a circuit which allows storage and reproduction of an audio-visual sequence (9) from the recording. The outer display packing has a detector that can translate the stored information to a display screen (40) on a face of the outer display packing. The outer packing also includes an audio amplifier system and has a loud speaker integrated. The detector is in the form of a coil that couples the inner circuit to the devices in the outer packing. A rechargeable battery provides power.
