The manure spreader (1) is mounted behind a skip (2) with a moving bottom (3). It comprises in its lower part, a manure spreading table (140) and in its upper part a horizontal brush (120) and a screen (130). During manure spreading the table can be made operational and the screen is placed behind the brush whereas during the unloading phase of the skip the table is inoperable and the screen is retracted. The brush is constituted by a hub carrying transverse discs on which are mounted knives. It also has two diametrically opposite rods on the edge of the discs.
