Cutting device for kitchens

The device (1) comprises a swivelable cutter blade (3) mounted on a baseplate (2). When in use, the device adopts an upright position and can be folded flat when not in use. A handle (4) is provided in the baseplate periphery for hanging the device from a hook on a wall or rail when the device is not being used. The handle may have a depression in the underside of the baseplate, or a U-shaped bow frame projecting over the baseplate periphery.
