The invention relates to a constant velocity turning joint for torque transmission, comprising an outer joint element (35) with outer ball tracks (38), an inner joint element (32) with inner ball tracks (42), and balls (33) capable of transmitting torque which are guided by pairs of inner and outer ball tracks (38, 42) positioned on corresponding meridian planes. Said turning joint also comprises a ball cage (34) which houses the balls (33) in openings (43) distributed around its circumference, maintains them on a common plane and when the joint is bent guides the balls to the bisecting plane. The bisecting lines of the inner and outer ball tracks (38, 42) each consist of at least two adjoining sections having different curvatures, whereby the bisecting lines of the ball tracks (38) of the outer joint element (31) each have convex inner sections (51) and, positioned opposite each inner section, concave end sections (52) facing the opening. |
