Increasing the sweetening power and enhancing the taste of a mixture of highly intensive sweetening agents is achieved by adding an oligosaccharide, preferably an inuline, oligo-fructose, galacto- or isomalto-oligosaccharide, lactosucrose, maltose, glycosyl-sucrose, maltotetraose or trehalose.
