<p>An automated third party verification system and method for verifying a customer's authorization to switch long distance service providers. The system comprises a customer database manager (101), a third party verification (TPV) interactive voice response (IVR) system (113), and a TPV management system (103). The customer database manager (101) contacts the customer and creates a text file of the customer's responses to a series of questions. The text file is sent to the TPV IVR system (113), and it directs a series of scripted questions, corresponding to those previously asked by the database manager (101), to the customer and records the responses as voice clips. The TPV management system (103) presents the voice clips and the corresponding test file to a verifier through a voice data verification module (119), from which the verifications are made, and monitored by a quality assurance processor (118).</p> |
