<p>A light emitting pointer disposed in front of a display panel (1) having an indication portion (1A) for indicating a predetermined physical quantity, for indicating the indication portion (1A) of the display plate (1) while emitting light upon receiving light emitted thereto, includes integrally a rod-like indicator (12) for indicating the indication portion (1A) of the display plate (1) and a pointer fixing portion (11) capable of being fixed to a rotary shaft (7) of a meter main body (6). A pointer main body (10) is made of a transparent material capable of receiving and transmitting light substantially along its entire length inclusive of the pointer fixing portion (11) and the indicator (12). Therefore, a simple pointer illumination structure becomes feasible, and a simple, slim and shadow-free light emitting pointer having high visibility can be achieved.</p> |
