The method involves air being blown into the top of the flue-gas return flow duct at a tangent so as to form an air-vortex. The inner wall of the return flow duct has air-inlet ducts (4). These ducts are nozzle-shaped, with outlets at a tangential outlet angle to the air vortex forming in the return-flow top (2). Nozzle-shaped inserts are contained in the ducts.
