FIELD: plastic metal working, namely apparatuses for bending metal shapes with semiclosed box-type cross section along non-radius curve. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes mounted in housing supporting member for clamping blank. Drive bending template is in the form of upper holder with flaps. Lower holder is suspended to flaps by means of hooks secured to its front and rear ends with possibility of mutual vertical motion. Lower holder is mounted on curvilinear surface of die with possibility of motion along it; holder has contour corresponding to inner surfaces of semiclosed cross section of article in contact with upper curvilinear surface of die. Upper holder has contour corresponding to upper outer surfaces of article and it is joined by means of axle with rod of cylinder. Guide pins engaging with jaws jointly secured to die are mounted on lateral surfaces of upper holder. Die is connected with fork of rotation drive unit through clamper, levers having the same axis as clamper and hinge whose diameter is less than that of opening provided in die for hinge.
