High temperature fuel cell

The fuel cell has part of the heat of the gases fed from the anode and cathode used for pre-heating the gases fed to the anode and the cathode, to obtain the required temperature for optimum operation of the fuel cell, using anode and cathode gas circuits (1,2). The quantities of the reaction gases fed to the anode and the cathode are regulated in dependence on the required electrical output of the fuel cell, with an equivalent gas quantity extracted from each circuit for recycling.
