Workstation operating data collection system

The operating data collection system uses a pulse and tone selection telephone as the data collection terminal at each workstation, used for entering an identification number, a work mode and costing data etc. as a series of selection signals. The telephones may be connected to a local telephone network with the entered data signals fed to a central computer which decodes the signals and records the corresponding data.
