SUBSTANCE: surface of natural material should be treated with acetone and 3-5 mas.% solution of hydroxide of alkali metal or aqueous solution of ammonia in advance. After formation of conductive sulfide layers on it aged in the air, required metal coats are deposited electrically. Electroplatings have 100% continuity, firm adhesion to surface, uniform brilliance and do not include pitting. They reproduce fine microrelief of surface of natural material in detail.
