IR gas analyser

The gas analyser has an IR source (30) providing an IR beam which is fed to the multi-reflection measuring cell (70), supplied with the measuring gas, via a chopper (20) and an optical condenser system (33). The measuring cell has 3 concave mirrors and an IR detector (60) in the beam exit path, providing a signal representing the level of the IR radiation within a defined wavelength band, corresponding to a given gas component. The condenser system, the measuring cell and the IR detector are accurately positioned relative to the IR beam and hermetically coupled together in this position.
