According to the invention, guide elements (9-11) and guide walls (4) are positioned in a fuel tank (1) of a motor vehicle which guide the fuel so that it flows against a wall (3) of the fuel tank (1) at a flat angle. This markedly reduces the splashing noise caused by the fuel. The guide walls (4) form a channel (5) with a calming area (6) in which the fuel flow is baffled. |
