Assembly yoke for fitting plasterboards

The yoke (1) has a bearing face (3) for fitting against an already mounted plasterboard (5) and a guide face (7) for guiding a further plasterboard which is to be fitted as it is moved into its assembly position. A spacer (9) is mounted between the bearing face and guide face. The thickness (d) of the at least one spacer (9) matches the width of the gap and is preferably between about three and five mm. The maximum width (b) of the yoke is at least fifteen mm and preferably twenty-five mm. The yoke can be made of spring elastic or fibre reinforced plastics or spring elastic metal.
