COLLECTOR RINGLESS CONDUCTOR ROLL

A conductor roll which can eliminate the burning troubles of a brush and a lead wire resulting from an inferior contact between a collector ring (C ring) and a roll shaft, mounting/dismounting and fitting operations of the C ring at the time of repair of a roll main body, and can prolong life of a slidable current collector material. A collector ringless conductor roll includes an electrocopper plating layer having a Vickers hardness of at least 100 Hv on the outer peripheral surface at the end portion of a conductor roll shaft, and the brush is brought into direct contact with this portion.
