The sealing rubber (50) comprises a socket section (51) which is fixed to the inner side of the vehicle door (1). The sealing rubber also has a hollow sealing section (52) which is formed in one-piece with the socket section. There is a lip section (55) which is located between the door strip (3) and the holder (4) of the joint region. The lip section is arranged such that it comes in contact with an end (3a) of the door strip. The door strip is fixed to the inner side of the door. The holder of the joint region stretches between the socket section and the hollow sealing section. The lip section has a neck on the sealing rubber which covers the holder from above.
