<p>Getter pump with one-piece supporting framework of a plurality of elements of non-evaporable getter materials in the form of rectangular plates (10), the ends of which are housed in a series of parallel slits (4, 4a) provided on the opposite sides (3, 3a) of a U-shaped metal envelope. An elongated heating member (20) is longitudinally mounted, orthogonally with respect to the plans of said plates (10), on the bottom (1) of the envelope or framework. Preferably said plates (10) protrude sideways from the slits (4, 4a) and are covered and kept in position by two covering side strips (5, 5a) fastened from outside by end-welding or manual clinching of suitable tangs (17, ...) in corresponding cuts (14, ...). Transversal staples (9, 9', 9'') for stiffening the structure are also provided.</p> |
