Provided is an apparatus for automatic cleaning, drying and coating of a lower portion of an automobile, which apparatus reciprocatingly travels along the lower portion of the automobile kept stopped to jet wash water at the time of cleaning the lower portion, jet hot air at the time of drying, and jet paint at the time of coating to carry out cleaning, drying and coating of the lower portion of the automobile. Loaded on a central carriage (1) adapted to reciprocatingly travel along a lower portion of an automobile, is a central arm (2) capable of reciprocating in a direction perpendicular to a central line in a longitudinal direction of the automobile. Loaded on the central arm (2) are a cleaning unit (4), which can swing in a direction of advancement of the central carriage (1), and a coating unit (9), in which a spray (10) capable of swinging in a longitudinal direction of the central arm (2) can move vertically and turn 90 degrees from a normal position in a horizontal direction. Accordingly, delicate actions are enabled by controlling these actions to effectively carry out cleaning, drying and coating.
