The lamp fitting has an elongated multi-part housing (1), which is closed on front side by front parts (13), and in which a holder system is arranged for at least one rod shaped discharge lamp (24). The housing (1) includes two mirror symmetrically arranged longitudinal elements (2), which include an upper and a lower side limb (3,4) as chord profile sections. At least one lower side lamb (4) is connected detachably, such that at a predetermined angle carries a limb section (5) arranged at it, and the longitudinal elements (2) are provided with longitudinal slots (11,12,14,15,16,18) for the application of lamp fitting components. |
