Machine-readable receipt provision method

摘要

The method is used for providing a machine-readable receipt from a non machine- readable receipt, by dividing the bill part of the receipt into fields and detecting the characters contained within each field. The non machine-readable characters are marked at a man work station and are read and processed manually for conversion into machine-readable characters at a second work station, before re-combining the converted characters with the mach8ine-readable characters on the bill.
