Fine wire mesh sieve screen with improved stiffness

This is a plane wire mesh (2) screen (1) for a sieving or screening machine. In the new design, the screen has one or more continuous rebates (4) formed into the surface. Preferably there are numbers of such rebates, mutually parallel and adjacent, forming a wavy surface. The rebates are effectively closed on the upper surface. Reinforcing braces are located in the rebates. On the long edges there are stabilising strips. These are cast-on plastic strips (3), with cast-in reinforcing profiles.
