<p>A brake light system for motor vehicles, comprising at least one group of one or more brake lights which is conventionally energizable through a switch connected with the braking system of the motor vehicle for indicating when the braking system is being operated, the brake light system being further provided with a control device for at least one additional group of one or more brake lights, the control device comprising deceleration detection means which in operation, in response to a predetermined extent of deceleration of the motor vehicle, provide a signal which energizes the additional group of brake lights directly or indirectly.</p> |
