Sun-protection cosmetic compositions for skin and/or hair based on a synergic mixture of filters

Cosmetic and/or dermatological preparation comprises, in a cosmetically acceptable support: (i) a first filter compound comprising siloxane derivative with a benzotriazole function having at least one unit of formula O(3-a)/2Si(R)a-A (I); and (ii) a second filter compound consisting of a sulphonic derivative of benzimidazole C of formula (III). The filter compounds (I) and (II) are present in the preparation in a molar ratio that gives a synergistic improvement in sun protection factor (SPF). In (I), R = optionally halogenated 1-10 C alkyl, phenyl or trimethylsilyloxy; a = 0-3; and A = monovalent radical of formula (II) bound directly to a Si atom. In (II), Y = 1-8 C alkyl, halogen or 1-4 C alkoxy with the proviso that in the latter case, two adjacent groups Y on the same aromatic ring may together form a dioxyalkylidene group in which the alkylidene part has 1 or 2 C; X = O or NH; Z = H or 1-4 C alkyl; n = 0-3; m = 0 or 1; and p = 1-10. In (III), R' = H, 1-8 C linear or branched alkyl or alkoxy, or a group of formula (IV).
