PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take out a voltage efficiently even when a quantity of information charges generated in an image sensor is small. SOLUTION: Information charges are discharged by a reset clockϕr1 whose period is twice that of a horizontal blockϕh at an output part 11d of an image sensor 11 to synthesize the information charges two picture elements by two. In a sample hold circuit 14 an image signal Y0 (t) outputted from the output part 11d is fetched at two steps to output an image signal Y1 (t) where a period indicating an information charge quantity by one picture element and a period indicating an information charge quantity by two picture elements are repeated alternately. Then in the image signal Y1 (t) by taking a difference between a value of the period indicating the information charge quantity by one picture element and a value of the period indicating the information charge quantity by two picture elements, the information corresponding to all light receiving picture elements are obtained.
