PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability by reducing the occurrence of a return in the liquid state of a refrigerant to a compressor by a method wherein during the starting of a compressor, an operation mode is decided by a control device, and during cooling operation, the frequency variation speed of a frequency control means is switched by a frequency variation speed switching means and a frequency increase speed is decreased. SOLUTION: An operation mode for heating or cooling is detected by an operation mode detecting means 21. When a compressor operation starting signal 22 is transmitted, it is decided at 24 by a control device 23 whether an operation mode by an operation mode detecting means 21 is cooling or not. When the operation mode is cooling, a switching signal is outputted to a frequency variation speed switching means 25 by the control device 23. The frequency variation speed of a frequency control means 26 is switched by a frequency variation speed switching means 25 and a compressor is operated by the frequency control means 26 according to a frequency variation speed. In this case, the frequency control means 26 is switched to a slow frequency increase speed. This constitution prevent the occurrence of a return to the compressor in the liquid state of a refrigerant. |
