PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of performing an instant heating operation in which its operation can be continued until a utilizing person may attain a sufficient heating feeling and further a fast increasing in temperature of an entire indoor area can be attained. SOLUTION: An air conditioner is comprised of an indoor heat exchanger, an indoor fan, a control section and an indoor heat exchanger temperature sensor. The control section sets an air volume of the indoor fan from a remote controller set air volume to an instant heating air volume larger than a maximum air volume attained during a normal, operation when an indoor heat exchanger temperature TC becomes higher than an instant heating air volume starting temperature TH1. When the indoor heat exchanger temperature TC becomes lower than an instant heating air volume releasing temperature TH2, an air volume of the indoor fan is changed from the instant heating air volume to the remote controlled set air volume. |
