PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise fishes while keeping and promoting health of the fishes by administering a proanthocyanidin to the fishes. SOLUTION: Fishes (e.g. an appreciative fish, a cultured fish, etc.; colored carp, goldfish, various kinds of tropical fishes, etc., as the appreciative fish; yellowtail, sea bream, coho salmon, flatfish, eel, sweetfish, carp, rainbow, trout, etc., as the cultured fish) are raised by administering a granular, pasty or pellet- shaped feed prepared by mixing a proanthocyanidin (a condensation-type tannin existing in various kinds of plants, that is a group of compounds obtained by the condensation or polymerization of flavan-3-ol, flavan-3,4-diol as an element) to a raw feed (e.g. fish meal, soybean cake, wheat bran, bran, a vitamin, a mineral, starch, cellulose, etc.) in an amount of 10-1000ppm. |
