SOLUTION: When a camera recording button 2 is kept being depressed for a time equal to or longer than a time t1, a control microcomputer 3 recognizes that it means the supplying of a power source or the interrupting of the power source. The computer 3 performs the supplying of the power source or the interrupting of the power source and when the button 2 is kept being depressed for a time shorter than the time t1 at the time the power source is in an on-state, the computer 3 recognizes that it means the starting of a video recording or the stopping of the video recording to perform the starting of the video recording or the stopping of the video recording. Moreover, the computer 3 informs the content of the operations to a photographer by voice outputs at the time of performing the supplying of the power source, the interrupting of the power source, the starting of the video recording and the stopping of the video recording.
