GRANULATED AND COATED SEED AND MANUFACTURE THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granulated and coated seed for easily absorbing water at the time of sowing, easily breaking by water absorption, hardly changing the way of breaking with the lapse of days and hardly recognizing the by- product of a spherical object not containing a seed further in the one for granulating and coating the seed, especially a heliophilous seed. SOLUTION: The seed is granulated and coated by using a composition for granulation containing a granulation material composed of 0.1-25wt.% of powder (A) whose average grain diameter is less than 30μm composed of one or both of montmorillonite and bentonite and 99.9-75wt.% of the powder (B) whose average grain diameter is more than 10μm and less than 30μm composed of the powder other than the montmorillonite and the bentonite and the aqueous solution of polyvinyl alcohol whole aqueous solution viscosity at 25 deg.C is less than 50mPa.s as a binder.
