PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print without requiring an enormous memory buffer by setting a predetermined gap between pages to restrain transmission of a first image data of a next page after a last image data of the present page is transmitted when a development estimation time for the image data of the present page exceeds a transmission time. SOLUTION: A time required for developing all bands of a page is expressed by a diagram 301. The time expressed by the diagram 301 is divided to a plurality of bands. Image data are developed for every band and stored in any one of the plurality of bands. At this time, gaps 305, 306 between papers are set to restrain transmission of image data of a first band 1 of a next page after image data of a last band 10 of the present page is transmitted when a development estimation time N×an×Td required for developing the image data of the present page exceeds a transmission time (N-1)×Tt 304 required for transmitting the data to a printing means.
