PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To corresponds to plural bankbooks which have different printed positions of a page mark and to make a bankbook printer have versatility. SOLUTION: After a magnetic head 2 reads data of a magnetic stripe of a bankbook that is inserted into a bankbook printer 6 with pages spread, an optical reading part 3 optically reads an entire image of spread pages and takes it in as an image. A page mark is extracted from the image data, the page number is recognized by collating the extracted page mark with a dictionary and it is sent to a controlling part 5. |
