PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of part items and improve workability for assembling a steering wheel provided with an air bag device. SOLUTION: A boss 8 comprises a boss plate 33 and a boss body 36 comprising a cylindrical section 34 and a yoke section 35 and is integrally connected to the core bar of a spoke section. The boss 8 is provided with a plurality of fixing sections 43 and 49 having through holes 42 and 48. An inflater 15, air bag 14 and bag holder 16 are formed with a plurality of through holes, and the bolts 51 and 52 fixed to the inflater 15 are inserted into their respective through holes. The bolts 51 and 52 are additionally inserted into the through holes of the fixing sections 43 and 49, and the nuts 56 are threadedly attached to their male thread sections 53. In this constitution, when assembling the steering wheel, the the number of bolts 51 and 52 and nuts 56 are reduced compared with the numbers of those of the conventional steering wheels. |
